I’m Zandi Alcock, a protea show jumper, youth motivational speaker and videographer and editor. I started creating social media content of my horse riding years ago and soon my videos started getting thousands of views (my most popular video is sitting at just under a million views!). I then started my own YouTube Channel called Zanz: The Motivational Horsey Girl where I post motivational videos, sharing important lessons I’ve learnt through my horse riding but that apply to many different aspects of life. When I’m not riding, I create social media content for brands (one of which includes filming township entrepreneurs using flour and coatings for the food they sell. And so I’m very comfortable working in places that others might not be). I also work part time for a documentary production company that create films around various social issues – and get this, the director has even won an Emmy! I love all my work and look forward to what’s to come!
